Final Injury Report for Kings-Thunder, Will Domantas Sabonis, Jalen Williams Play?

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup.

Oklahoma City enters Wednesday’s game with a 14-1 record, which is the best in the NBA, after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans on the road on Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Pelicans, Chet Holmgren led the way for the Thunder as he recorded 26 points and nine rebounds while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 23 points and eight assists of his own.

Now Oklahoma City will try to keep their hot start to the season going as they seek their 15th victory of the season on Wednesday night in a matchup against a struggling Kings team.

On the other side, Sacramento enters Wednesday’s contest with a 3-11 record after losing to the San Antonio spurs on the road on Sunday.

DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Kings in Sunday’s loss to the Spurs as he ended the game with 27 points and four assists while Dennis Schroder recorded 22 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Kings Injury Report, Will Domantas Sabonis Play?

For the Kings, they have two players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game, including star center Domantas Sabonis.

Sacramento has ruled out Sabonis due to left knee soreness as he will miss the first game of a back-to-back.

Of course, Sabonis had been playing through a ribcage injury over the past few weeks which caused him to miss time and now he will be sidelined due to a knee injury.

With the star big man sidelined against the Thunder, Drew Eubanks and Maxime Raynaud could be in line for larger roles.

The Kings have also ruled out Keegan Murray for Wednesday’s contest as he continues to recover from offseason thumb surgery.

Thunder Injury Report, Will Jalen Williams, Aaron Wiggins Play?

On the other side, the Thunder have five players listed on their injury report, including star forward Jalen Williams.

Oklahoma City has ruled out Williams as he continues to recover from offseason wrist surgery that has sidelined him to begin the season.

The Thunder have also ruled out Aaron Wiggins due to an adductor strain as he will miss his seventh consecutive contest.

Kenrich Williams, Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber have also been ruled out for Wednesday’s game while Branden Carlson will be available despite dealing with a nasal fracture.
