Pick 60: Western Bulldogs select Will Darcy
There’s another Darcy at the Western Bulldogs!
Will Darcy is described as a “baby giraffe” by Sheehan on Fox’s coverage, which tells you he’s going to be a long-term project.
There’s a sense of the old Bruno Caboclo “he’s two years away from being two years away” on the way Darcy is being described here.
Nevertheless, it is another win for football romance.

Pick 59: GWS Giants select Jake Stringer
Jake Stringer is drafted onto the Giants once again after being delisted earlier in the year!
Stringer joined the Giants in last year’s trade period and played 15 games this year, kicking 25 goals.

Pick 58: St Kilda selects Ryan Byrnes
The Saints re-select Ryan Byrnes after originally selecting him in 2020.
Byrnes was delisted earlier this year and has played 80 games for the Saints.
He played 17 games in 2025, averaging 16.8 disposals per game.

The clubs are passing thick and fast now, this draft is wrapping up in a hurry, folks.
Port is the first club in AFL history to not make a single selection at a draft. They’ll be looking to do some work at the rookie draft.

Pick 57: Collingwood selects Angus Anderson
The Pies go for a mature-aged player out of the SANFL in Anderson.
Anderson is another midfielder who is able to rack up the contested football at will.
His move to the SANFL after going undrafted a few years ago pays off big-time!
The Pies will look to him to make an immediate impact next year, given he’s already played senior footy.
