The big question tomorrow is, will we see more sunshine Thursday afternoon? Many models keep the sky cloudy, which would keep highs in the 70s. It will still be an unseasonably warm day. However, if we see more sunshine, highs will easily approach record levels near 80º.

THE NEXT BIG THING looks like higher rain chances Friday. A cold front will slowly move across the area, with scattered showers and storms. This won’t be an all-day washout, but there is a good possibility for scattered downpours and a few storms with the risk of lightning by the afternoon. This could have impacts on the games happening Friday night, so check out the weather app for lightning alerts.

The chance of a passing shower or storm will continue through the morning hours on Saturday. The wet weather will be sliding south before lunchtime on Saturday, so we will have dry weather returning for the remainder of the weekend. You will notice a slight cooldown, with lows in the 50s and upper 40s by Sunday morning and Monday morning. Expect highs on Sunday to be closer to 70º.

THANKSGIVING WEEK will start dry, but another system will impact the state Tuesday, with a good chance for showers and storms returning. New data shows this system stalling with the possibility of more rounds of wet weather for Wednesday, Thanksgiving, and even on Black Friday. So, plan for the possibility of wet weather travel impacts next week and be sure to check in as we fine tune the long-range forecast!
