Jackie Chan has returned to theater screens with “The Shadow’s Edge,” a classic Chinese action film.
The film premiered at Emperor Cinemas Taikoo Li Sanlitun in Beijing on Aug. 3, 2025, before having a very limited theatrical release in the United States later in the month.
“The Shadow’s Edge” has received mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences, and the film generated over $158 million in box office revenue worldwide, with the majority of it coming from China.
