A Kindle you can read in the bathtub

What we like: Our upgrade e-reader pick. Worth upgrading to if you want a bigger screen for reading more text at a time, if you want to adjust the color temperature as well as the lighting, and if you do a lot of reading at the beach or by a pool. Seamless Audible integration for audiobook lovers.

Other things to know: The price hikes on recent models are irritating, especially because Amazon declined to include long-requested features, such as physical page-turn buttons, in this upgrade. Deal price on model with lockscreen ads.

High-performance headphones that offer adjustable noise cancellation

What we like: Noise-cancelling headphones worth considering if you want high-performance headphones that offer adjustable noise cancellation. Has the slightly warm sound that Bose is known for, plus a lightweight, comfortable design.

Other things to know: Former top pick. The ANC reduces a lot of noise in the airplane band, but the overall reduction is restricted to a narrower range of sounds than on our current top pick. Also lacks some of the nicer features present in our top pick. Bose just released the newest version of these headphones. At the deal price in blue or plum.

A great-sounding speaker for anywhere in the house

What we like: Our top multiroom wireless speaker system pick for a variety of rooms. Produces a full, well-balanced sound and fits nicely in any room. Offers support for about 130 streaming services, plus Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Alexa voice control.

Other things to know: Sonos app can be glitchy and its own voice-control compatibility is limited. Difficult to add external, non-AirPlay-enabled audio players to the system.

A Pixel perfect Android smartphone

What we like: Our top Android smartphone pick. Runs on a fast new processor that enables a few actually useful AI features. Has a brighter OLED screen, all-day battery life, and a triple-lens rear-camera setup. Introduces Pixelsnap, a nice new feature that allows you to magnetically snap wireless-charging pucks or other accessories to the back of the phone.

Other things to know: Has a smaller battery than the Pixel 9a. Video quality remains underwhelming. Google’s new Magic Cue feature worked inconsistently during short term testing but we plan to continue testing the feature and will update this review with additional impressions. Google promises security updates until 2032.

Other things to know: Lemokey offers a plethora of compatible accessories and keycaps for you to customize your keyboard further. Lacks a proper Gaming Mode button, and certain shortcuts are kept secret. You can’t configure it in wireless mode.
