FORECAST: More rain is expected ahead

Rounds of rain showers are in the forecast through Thursday and Friday. The wet weather then returns to the area next week.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The clouds are expected to stick around tonight. Areas of fog could also develop on the overnight and into early Thursday morning.

Rain is on the increase on Thursday with some bouts of heavy rainfall possible. Could be enough to cause some ponding of water on roadways. Another wave of showers and a few thunderstorms also shift through on Friday. A cold front then moves through Friday evening. Severe weather is not expected.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Some showers linger on Saturday, but the weekend looks mostly dry.
Rain then returns, especially by Tuesday, although showers are possible later on Monday. The active forecast likely turns colder around Thanksgiving.
