No. 1-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Arman Tsarukyan is set to chase another title shot against heated rival Dan Hooker in the UFC Qatar main event this weekend (Sat., Nov. 22, 2025) inside ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar.
But hours before official weigh-ins, a bit of pre-fight drama may be brewing.
A leaked video surfaced showing Tsarukyan struggling to make the Lightweight limit of 156 pounds, with audio in Russian mentioning โ159โ โ suggesting the top contender is roughly three pounds over, with time running out.
The clip is difficult to understand with overlapping Russian chatter, but the number is clear enough to raise eyebrows. For what itโs worth, Tsarukyan has only missed weight once in his UFC career (against Matt Frevola at UFC 257), and he still has more than eight hours to shave off those final pounds.
