Ah Chee becomes a Crow

The two-time premiership player became a Crow on Friday

Two-time Premiership Lion Callum Ah Chee is officially a Crow after signing with the Club via the Telstra Pre-Season Draft on Friday.

The sole pick in the draft, Ah Chee played 124 games for Brisbane across six years, bringing his total to 169, after moving north from Gold Coast at the end of 2019.

Adelaide explored a trade with Brisbane in October but ultimately utilised the Pre-season Draft to secure the 28-year-old.

Primarily a forward in recent seasons with the Lions, Ah Chee also has experience in the midfield, on the wing and playing behind the ball.

Crows GM List Management Justin Reid said the Club was excited to officially welcome Ah Chee to West Lakes.

“We’re thrilled to have Callum on board,” Reid said.

“He’s a quality player with ability to play across the ground and he arrives with two premiership medals from the past two seasons after playing an important role for the Lions in each campaign – including being Brisbane’s Player of the Finals in 2024.

“While we’re certainly keen to see his efforts on field, we know that he will be a key contributor off the field as well given the quality of his character.

“We can’t wait to welcome Callum, Laura, Iver and Daisy to Adelaide and the Crows.”

Adelaide has also re-listed Tyler Welsh, as promised, via the Telstra Rookie Draft.

The Crows have one list spot remaining heading into 2026 after drafting Mitchell Marsh (Pick 22) and Archie Ludowyke (Pick 50) in the National Draft this week.
