Oakdale licensed nurse practitioner arrested for Medicaid fraud, identity theft

ALLEN PARISH, La. (KALB) – A licensed nurse practitioner from Oakdale has been arrested on multiple charges, according to the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to APSO, Allison Miller, 36, has been accused of prescribing medication to patients and later retrieving it from the pharmacy herself.
On Nov. 19, she was arrested on four counts of Medicaid fraud, four counts of identity theft and four counts of unlawfully prescribing, distributing, dispensing or assisting in illegally obtaining controlled dangerous substances.
