Bloober Team’s ‘Silent Hill 2’ Remake Releasing November 21 on the Xbox Series

The brief leak last week is coming to fruition, as Konami is finally launching Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake on the Xbox Series. The game is slated for a November 21 release, with fans in Australia already able to snag the game. As an added bonus for the wait, the acclaimed remake is available with a generous 50% launch discount.
In addition, as was shown on the store page, the Xbox Series release of Silent Hill 2 is available in three options: a Deluxe Edition, which includes a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, and a Pyramid Head pizza box cosmetic; a bundle pack with the standard release of Silent Hill f; and a Deluxe Edition bundle with both games.
Silent Hill 2 centres around James Sunderland, who arrives in the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his late wife Mary, who had been suffering from an illness and died three years before. Upon arriving in the town, James finds it inhabited by horrific creatures, with one known as Pyramid Head taking a particular interest in him.
That’s not the only news for Silent Hill fans today, as Christophe Gans‘ Return to Silent Hill dropped its official trailer today. Starring Jeremy Irvine is James and Hannah Emily Anderson as Mary Crane, the film follows a similar premise to Silent Hill 2. When James receives a mysterious letter from his lost love, Mary, he is drawn to Silent Hill—a once-familiar town now consumed by darkness. As he searches for her, James faces monstrous creatures and unravels a terrifying truth that will push him to the edge of his sanity. Return to Silent Hill arrives in theaters January 2026 from Cineverse & Bloody Disgusting.
Silent Hill 2 is also available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.
