IND vs BAN Live Score, ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars Semi Final: India A need 16 runs in 6 balls vs Bangladesh

IND vs BAN Live Score, ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars Semi Final: Bangladesh A produced an impressive batting show to post a formidable 194/6 in the first semi-final of the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Friday. India A, led by Jitesh Sharma, now face a demanding chase of 195 for a spot in the final.
After being asked to bat, Bangladesh A got off to a flying start. Opener Habibur Rahman Sohan set the tone with his attacking strokeplay, adding a valuable 43 runs for the second wicket with Jishan Alam (15). The strong beginning ensured a healthy powerplay finish at 49/1, keeping the scoring rate firmly in Bangladesh’s favour.
Even as wickets fell at the other end, Habibur stood tall, reaching his half-century in just 32 balls. His well-crafted 65 off 46 deliveries showcased smart placement and effortless hitting, keeping India A under constant pressure.
India A’s bowlers managed to claw back after breaking his resistance. Harsh Dubey bowled accurately in the middle overs, while Suyash Sharma, Naman Dhir and Ramandeep Singh kept the run flow in check with timely strikes. Gurjapneet Singh’s crucial scalp of Habibur in the 16th over appeared to shift the momentum India’s way.
However, Bangladesh’s plans reignited spectacularly in the death overs. SM Meherob launched an extraordinary assault, blasting 48* off just 18 balls, hammering six towering sixes. Yasir Ali supported him with a quickfire 17* off nine balls. Together, they plundered 50 runs in the final two overs, turning a challenging total into a daunting one.
With the semifinal pressure rising, India A will now need a strong response to overhaul Bangladesh A’s explosive finish and secure a place in the championship match.
