Nabil Baha: “No Pressure on Us Against Mali; We’ll Be a Tough Opponent”

Nabil Baha, head coach of the Moroccan U20 national team, spoke ahead of their World Cup Round of 16 clash against Mali, emphasizing his players’ readiness and focus on victory.
Baha stated in press remarks: “We have no pressure; this match is like any other against an opponent we know well. We have analyzed them thoroughly and previously played against them in the Africa Cup final, where we defeated them. Now it will be a different match, and we must win it. The players are very excited to play it.”
He added: “We have faced this opponent in several tournaments, both in the Africa Cup and the World Cup, and we are accustomed to them. God willing, we will be a difficult opponent for them, even though these matches differ from those in the Africa Cup.”
Baha continued: “We are in the process of escalating our performance, and the players are gaining confidence with each match. They have a strong desire to win this encounter against the Malian team, especially since we faced them in the final, and it was a strong and organized match where they caused us a lot of trouble.”
Baha concluded: “However, the matches are different, and God willing, tomorrow there will be a great sense of pride and an excellent result.”
The Moroccan U20 national team will face their Malian counterparts tomorrow, Tuesday, starting at 4:45 PM (16:45 GMT+1), at Pitch No. 7 in Aspire Sports City.
