British rapper and chart-topper Aitch is certainly making waves on this year’s I’m A Celebrity – and it’s not just his music career that’s sparking interest. As the 25-year-old performer teams up with campmates including close pal Angry Ginge, Ruby Wax, and Jack Osbourne, he’s already winning over viewers with his bushtucker trial antics and sweet tributes to his little sisters.
Of course, as Aitch’s popularity rises on I’m A Celeb, there’s another topic that’s left viewers curious: his love life.
Who has Aitch dated in the past? Is he dating anyone now? From viral dates to TikTok controversies, here’s everything you need to know about I’m A Celeb star Aitch’s love life.
Is Aitch single?
Sad news, but no. Although there’s nothing on his Instagram to suggest he’s loved up, insiders have said Aitch (whose real name is Harrison Armstrong) is currently dating a psychology student named Lois. She’s said to live in Cheshire, which isn’t too far from his Manchester home, with the pair getting together earlier this year. An insider previously told The Sun, ‘Aitch took her away on a trip to New York, just the two of them. They’ve also introduced each other to family and friends.’
Revealing that they were keeping it lowkey, the source continued, ‘Aitch has never posted her on his social media, they’ve been keeping things very private.’
So far, there’s been no reports on how the pair met or how old Lois is – but maybe Aitch might open up more while he’s in the jungle…
Who else has Aitch dated?
Since skyrocketing to fame in 2018 with his track ‘Straight Rhymez’, Aitch has been linked to a few people in the public eye.
2022-2023: Lola Rose Thompson
Prior to his current romance, Aitch was linked to Australian model and content creator Lola Rose Thompson (who just so happens to be friends with Love Island’s Ella Thomas). Lola revealed on TikTok that they first met after Aitch slid into her DMs, with the pair later meeting in person at an event in Australia.
In early 2023, Aitch confirmed at the BRIT Awards that he and Lola were seriously dating, describing himself as being ‘wifed up.’ However, the pair went on to split layer that year, after around 10 months of dating.
What happened between Lola and Aitch?
While their relationship ended in 2023, Aitch and Lola’s breakup turned sour earlier this year after Aitch appeared on the 90s Baby Show podcast. Swapping stories with the hosts, Aitch went on the allege that an ex-girlfriend of his had once soiled herself while they were on holiday. Without naming names, Aitch explained how he noticed it the following morning while they were getting intimate – leaving the all-male podcast panel in fits of laughter.
Naturally, the internet did what it does best and began connecting the dots. With Aitch dropping some hints about the trip and the timeline, it didn’t take too long for some fans to begin guessing which ex he could have been talking about.
It was at this point that a furious Lola took to TikTok to set the record straight. Revealing that it was her that Aitch was talking about, she insisted that things hadn’t quite gone down the way the musician had described. Explaining that she had been suffering from the notoriously savage ‘Bali Belly’ while on holiday with Aitch, Lola insisted they had never been getting intimate. Instead, she said it was ‘odd’ for him to have turned it into a ‘sexual’ thing.
‘It didn’t go on the bed. It didn’t go on him. It didn’t go everywhere like he said it did,’ she explained. Lola also added that Aitch didn’t recoil in horror at the situation. Instead, he cuddled her, told her he loved her, and tried to make her feel better about the situation.
Slamming the rapper for seemingly exaggerating their private moment for cheap laughs, Lola said, ‘The fact that he’s going online and speaking about me in such a vulgar, disgusting way that’s not even accurate is just bizarre to me.’
The internet was certainly on Lola’s side. As the original 90s Baby Show clip went viral on TikTok, people rushed to the comments to show their support for Lola. ‘Aitch normally seems like a nice guy, but I don’t rate him for this. Why would he share this story about her for however many people to hear? She would have been embarrassed enough. This isn’t right at all,’ one viewer shared.
‘Saying this about a girl when he has little sisters is wrongggg,’ wrote another, as one viewer agreed, ‘Imagine exploiting someone’s vulnerable moment that is completely out of control.’
2019 – 2022: Amelia Dimoldenberg
One of Aitch’s most high-profile relationships was with comedian and presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg. The pair first met back in 2019, when Aitch appeared on Amelia’s YouTube series Chicken Shop Dates.
Amelia asked if Aitch was a player, to which the rapper responded that he was texting ‘zero girls.’ In her trademark deadpan style, Amelia then went on to ask Aitch if he believed in love at first sight. He replied, ‘I believe in it, but it’s never happened so I don’t know. But I would like to think that one day I’ll look at someone and fall in love.’
Rumours swirled for a few years that something had blossomed between the pair, before Aitch fuelled the fire in 2022 by teasing that he’d been going on dates with a mystery woman. Later revealing that it was Amelia, he posted a TikTok of their third date – writing, ‘Yeah, you guessed it, f*ck off now.’
That same year, Aitch called Amelia ‘my wife’ while appearing on KISS Breakfast. It came a day after Amelia had spoke of the Manchester-based rapper, saying, ‘I like him a lot. I love that he loves me so much, it’s nice when someone pays you attention and is interested in you, right?’
But after Amelia appeared in his music video for the 2022 single ‘Baby,’ many fans began questioning whether this romance was nothing more than a PR stunt. It was a stance that was only furthered when it became clear that all of their TikTok videos together were featuring music from his new song.
Within a few weeks of the song landing, the pair shared a TikTok announcing they had decided to just be friends. Exchanging best-friend bracelets, Aitch joked that he didn’t want to watch Amelia date other rappers each week.
Was it all a ruse to promote new music? The internet thinks so – but Aitch and Amelia say not. When a fan commented that it was ‘all for PR,’ Amelia responded, ‘It wasn’t.’
Aitch has also carried on with the idea, writing last year on X, ‘I really miss @ameliadimz.’ He even referenced her in his song ‘Famous Girl,’ singing, ‘But true say I really miss Amelia.’
