The Indiana Pacers finally snapped a lengthy eight-game losing skid on Wednesday, but they come into tonight’s contest as massive underdogs against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Donovan Mitchell has been on a scoring spree early this season, and my Pacers vs. Cavaliers predictions and NBA picks expect him to put up plenty of buckets on Friday, November 21.
Pacers vs Cavaliers prediction
Pacers vs Cavaliers best bet: Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 points (-110)
The Cleveland Cavaliers fell short to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday as only De’Andre Hunter (25 points) and Donovan Mitchell (21 points) hit the 20-point mark in a 114-104 defeat.
It was a rare misstep for Mitchell, who shot 8-for-17 from the field and 3-for-9 from downtown. The Cavs guard has generally been scoring for fun this season, averaging 30.2 ppg — one of just six players scoring 30+ ppg.
Mitchell has scored Over 27.5 points in seven of his last nine outings and looks like a lock to get back into rhythm against a struggling Indiana Pacers squad.
Indiana is giving up 123.1 ppg, the fourth-worst mark in the league, and at least one opposing player has scored 28+ points vs. the Pacers in seven of their last nine contests.
Give me Mitchell to score Over 27.5 points all day.

The Pacers have also been bad on the boards this season, giving up 47.5 opponent rebounds per game — fourth-most in the NBA. Cavs center Evan Mobley is averaging 8.6 boards, and he should have his way on the glass tonight.
Bennedict Mathurin has played just four games for Indiana this season due to a toe injury, but he’s looked great when healthy. The Pacers guard is averaging 27.8 ppg and has cleared 21.5 points in every outing.
Pacers vs Cavaliers 3-leg SGP
- Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 points

Our “from downtown” SGP: Indy keeps it respectable
The Pacers are undoubtedly a bad team right now but they should be significantly better with Mathurin back in the lineup.
Cleveland has only won by 14+ points in three of its 10 victories, while the Cavaliers are also just 5-11 ATS this season.
