Elizabeth Olsen Channels Mod Energy in Dries van Noten

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Eternity premiere at The Cinema In The Power Station in London, continuing the wonderfully unpredictable streak she’s been leaning into throughout this press tour. She’s been keeping us on our toes — one minute she’s leaning classic, the next she’s diving headfirst into something a little quirkier — and this sits firmly in the latter.

This Dries van Noten dress is from the Spring 2026 collection, though the mood is pure late-1960s meets early-1970s. The oversized black-and-white circles feel lifted straight off an Op Art poster, calling back to the Mod era and designers like Pierre Cardin, André Courrèges, and a bit of early YSL. But the almost apron-style silhouette adds a hit of ’70s minimalism, a clean, unfitted, elongated shape that is thankfully lifted by the graphics.
She styled the look with the same metallic green-and-black heels from the runway — shoes that will absolutely divide opinion, because they’re not trying to blend in. Personally, I love them as they break the black-and-white story with a jolt of colour.
What ties everything together is the Sonia Petroff jewellery. It’s a clever choice: Petroff’s archive spans the 60s, 70s and 80s, so the references line up neatly with the dress’ era-blending energy.
You’ll either love how Elizabeth embraces the retro influence or feel that she is drowning in it.
Stylist: Elizabeth Stewart.
