Goldie Hawn’s family isn’t going overboard for her 80th birthday festivities.
That’s not to say, though, that the Oscar winner’s son Oliver Hudson and his family wouldn’t have given her the world to make her feel celebrated.
“We would have done anything for her,” he told Us Weekly in an interview published Nov. 21, Goldie’s actual birthday. “Totally up to her. [If] she wanted to go to the moon, we’d figure it out, but she’s a simple gal.”
So, when it comes to her big day, Goldie—who shares kids Oliver, 49, and Kate Hudson, 46, with ex Bill Hudson, as well as son Wyatt Russell, 39, with partner Kurt Russell—is keeping it low-key.
“She wants her family, and that’s it, and that’s what we’re doing now,” Oliver continued. “We have a lot of fun things planned within that she doesn’t know about, but we are just going to keep it [to family].”
As for what’s on the docket? The Scream Queens alum—dad to Wilder, 18, Bodhi, 15, and Rio, 12, with wife Erinn Bartlett—gave a peek into the Hudson family celebration.
