Unreal Nikola Jokic Stat Shows How Dominant He’s Been Thi…

If anyone is questioning whether Nikola Jokic has been the best player of the 2020s so far, this stat may settle that debate once and for all.
According to @NBAcrazystats on X, Jokic currently leads this decade in total points, total rebounds, total assists, and total steals.
Since the 2020-21 campaign, Jokic has been named NBA MVP three out of five seasons. Jokic came in second in MVP voting last season, behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, even though the Denver Nuggets star averaged a career-high in assists (10.2), points (29.6) and steals (1.8), in addition to 12.7 rebounds per game, the second-most of his career.
This season, Jokic has continued his dominance, averaging 29.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 11.1 assists per game. The 30-year-old center recently posted a remarkable five-game stretch where he averaged 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists per game while shooting an incredible 72.7 percent from the field.
Jokic added to his already impressive NBA resume in 2023 when he led the Nuggets to its first championship in franchise history. He was unsurprisingly named NBA Finals MVP, capping off a playoff run where he set a record for most triple-doubles with 10.
Is it too soon to say Jokic has already solidified himself as the best NBA player of the 2020s?
