Actor Samuel L. Jackson revealed during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week that he roots for the Ravens even though he is a longtime Atlanta Falcons fan.
“I can’t not be a Falcon fan, but I cheer most for the Baltimore Ravens because Lamar Jackson is my [illegitimate] son,” Jackson quipped. “That’s what everybody thinks, [so] I roll with that.”
He was alluding to the fact that people have suggested the two Jacksons bear a resemblance to one another.
“There are all kinds of side-by-side pictures of us online,” Jackson said. “When he was at Louisville, he used to sit next to [wide receiver Traveon] Samuel, so it would be Samuel L. Jackson on the back of their jerseys when they were on the bench.”
