Florida’s 101st rocket of the year took off during the hazy early hours of Saturday, adding another 29 Starlink satellites to SpaceX’s ever-growing satellite internet constellation.
The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 2:53 a.m. Nov. 22 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. No Brevard County sonic booms were heard, as the rocket’s booster landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship out in the Atlantic Ocean.
Overall, it was the 94th SpaceX rocket to launch from the Space Coast in 2025. It was also the 67th Starlink mission of the year from Florida − bringing the total number of the satellites launched from the Space Coast in 2025 to 1,724.
