Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bat first in the third match of the ongoing tri-nation series.
Pakistan’s captain Salman Ali Agha said that the team will aim to restrict the opposition to a low total. He added that had Pakistan won the toss, they would have opted to bat as well. “Our morale is high after winning the first match,” he stated.
Pakistan has fielded the following playing XI for the match: Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, Salman Agha, Usman Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim, Salman Mirza, and Abrar Ahmed.
The match holds significant importance as both teams look to strengthen their position in the series, with Pakistan entering the contest on the back of a confidence-boosting victory.
