UFC Qatar Highlights! ‘Austrian Wonderboy’ Smokes TUF Winner With One-Punch KO

Ismail Naurdiev made it look easy earlier today (Sat., Nov. 22, 2025) at UFC Qatar LIVE on ESPN+ from inside the ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar, putting a violent stop to former Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Loder with a a brutal first-round knockout (punch).
Loder was a decent betting underdog entering Saturday’s “Prelims” contest, but many thought his wrestling and grinding fight style would wear on Naurdiev in the long run. Unfortunately for Loder, he barely had any time to implement his own game plan and even get close to Naurdiev, who was dialed in on the feet from the opening bell.
Out of nowhere, Naurdiev unloaded a massive looping right hand that connected flush and sent Loder crashing to the canvas. Loder was so badly hurt that Naurdiev took a second or two to decide if he wanted to do any more damage. The referee waved the fight off just in time and the cageside officials tended to Loder. It was a pretty scary finish.
Check out the video highlights below:
Naurdiev, 29, was coming off a tough decision loss Jun Yong Park his last time out so it was important for him to turn in a good performance this weekend. The “Austrian Wonderboy” is known to have clean and crisp striking, but he doesn’t typically possess one-punch knockout power. In fact, this was Naurdiev’s first knockout finish since 2019.
