Head coach Sean Dyche has named his Nottingham Forest team to take on Liverpool in this afternoon’s crunch Premier League clash.

The Reds return to action looking to pick up from where they left off prior to the international break. A 3-1 triumph over Leeds United at the City Ground a fortnight ago saw them claim their first league win under Dyche.

Goals from Ibrahim Sangare, Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson secured Forest’s first league victory since the opening day of the season. They are still in the relegation zone ahead of kick-off today but have closed the gap on the teams above them.

Dyche enjoyed valuable time on the training ground with his squad during the two-week hiatus. However, he remains without a number of players due to injury.

Chris Wood, Taiwo Awoniyi, Dilane Bakwa, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Douglas Luiz, Angus Gunn, Ola Aina and youngster Aaron Bott are all ruled out of the match on Merseyside. But Callum Hudson-Odoi has returned from a dead leg to take his place on the bench. Dyche has named an unchanged starting XI from the game against Leeds.

Nicolo Savona, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams will once again make up the back line ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Ibrahim Sangare and Elliot Anderson will line up in midfield.

Forest: Sels; Savona, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Sangare, Anderson; Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Dominguez; Jesus. Subs: John, Morato, Hudson-Odoi, Kalimuendo, Hutchinson, Yates, Jair, McAtee, Boly.
