Blues waive Texier for contract termination, Sens reportedly interested in forward

The 26-year-old from France has one assist over eight games with the Blues in 2025-26.
Texier recorded six goals and five assists over 31 games with the Blues last season.
Over 240 career games with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Blues, Texier has tallied 40 goals and 51 assists.
According to Postmedia’ Bruce Garrioch, the Ottawa Senators are one of the teams interested in Texier.
Texier’s agent, Dan Milstein, tells Garrioch that nine teams have shown interest and he has narrowed down his list to two teams. A decision is expected in the next day or two.

Sens forward Olle Lycksell cleared waivers on Saturday.
