Crusaders host Georgetown at Fenway Park on Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross football team is preparing to play the final game of the season this Saturday against Georgetown at 4pm at historic Fenway Park. It will be a special way to end out the season for the Crusaders. “Yeah, it’s going to be an incredible opportunity for our student athletes,” said Holy Cross Head Coach, Dan Curran, “really for our alumni, and the Holy Cross community to play in historical Fenway Park against another national brand like Georgetown, our guys are coming off a big win last week with a lot of momentum looking to finish the season strong. To do an environment like that which should be what it should be a great and electric environment I know Holy Cross has sold a ton of tickets we’re really excited about the opportunity looking forward to making the most of it.”
The Crusaders have played at the home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, many times over the years. Holy Cross has played football at the ballpark 21 times between 1916 and it’s last appearance there in 1956.
