Off the bench, Anthony Black had a game-high four steals to go with 12 points, four boards and four dimes, while Goga Bitadze chipped in 10, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 16 minutes and Jonathan Isaac added 9 points, seven boards and two blocks in 16 minutes as well.
The Knicks are 9-5 and 1-1 to start this current five-game road trip. On Wednesday, New York was visiting the Dallas Mavericks and escaped with a 113-111 win behind a pair of Landry Shamet triples in the final 63 seconds. Those were 6 of his 9 points on the night, and the first of those game-changing shots was assisted by Jalen Brunson, who led all scorers with 28 while also getting five dimes, three boards, a steal and a block. Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges tied for the team-lead in assists with six with Towns also leading the game in rebounding with 14 and adding 18 points and getting two steals while Bridges posted 16 with five boards, three steals and two blocks. Josh Hart had 16 and 10 off the bench with five assists, one steal and one block and Miles McBride went for 11 with two blocks.
