Sasaki underwent scans after he fell on the back of his head but thankfully showed no signs of injury – including bleeding to the brain.
But Sasaki did suffer from memory loss, not able to recall any of the six weeks leading up to his title fight with Norman.
Norman was gracious in victory and supported Sasaki in the aftermath but insisted he would unforgivingly do it all over again.
He said: “It’s a cold game. It’s a cold word. I mean, if he could have knocked me out, I just believe he would have did the exact same.

David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde – all the info
Will it be third time lucky?!
British star Anthony Yarde will be desperate to finally clinch world champion status after two failed previous attempts – but he’ll have to overcome WBC light heavyweight title holder, David Benavidez.
Yarde’s first boxing heartbreak came in 2019 when he lost a WBO belt bout to Sergey Kovalev.
The British heavyhitter then suffered an eigthth round stoppage in his title clash with Artur Beterbiev four years later.
But since then, Yarde has put together four consecutive wins, which has ultimately earned him a shot against the undefeated American ace Benavidez.

“It’s got nothing to do with him and it’s got more to do than just my power. It gotta have IQ to put that thing together.
“I got the adjustments needed to literally any and everything possible. I know how to put it together.
“I do got the speed as well, I got literally any and everything. And now it’s just time for you all to realise that.”
The American pair have differing styles, with Haney, 26, a defensive maestro while Norman is a heavy-hitter.
But they share similarities; both trained both their dads having turned professional at just 17 in Mexico.
So Norman admitted: “I definitely have a whole lot of respect for Devin Haney. That’s why I properly prepared for him so well.
“I know same thing, father son duo, the Mexico thing, even let’s go back to amateur boxing. He did the same thing we did as in going here and going there for all the top sparring.
“So no, I respect, I respect his hustle as well. But like I just said, you gotta get yours, but I gotta get mine now. It’s time for my story to continue and yours to end.”
