One of the things that is the reality of the NBA is that injury reports can change in a jiffy. That was the case today. Alex Sarr, who has missed the last couple games, is now no longer on the list. But rookie Tre Johnson is questionable. Marvin Bagley, AJ Johnson and Khris Middleton are out.
With Middleton’s case, he played 24 minutes and scored 2 points but will take the second night of a back-to-back off. Given the Wizards’ priorities for … some time .. that would make sense.
Anyway, Washington is looking to get out of a 13 game losing streak. No one wants to win more than the Wizards do. However, let’s say that talent is going to make things very hard for Washington to snap out of it.
