Final Injury Report for Grizzlies-Mavericks, Will Jaren Jackson Jr., Anthony Davis Play?

The Dallas Mavericks are at home on Saturday night as they host the Memphis Grizzlies in a Western Conference matchup.
Dallas enters Saturday’s game with a 5-12 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Friday night.

In Friday’s victory over the Pelicans, Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists while P.J. Washington added 24 points and nine rebounds of his own.
Now Dallas will try to build off Friday’s victory as they seek their sixth victory of the season on Saturday against a struggling Grizzlies team.
On the other side, Memphis enters Saturday’s contest with a 5-11 record after defeating the Sacramento Kings in dominant fashion on Thursday night.

Santi Aldama led the way for the Grizzlies in Thursday’s victory as he ended the game with 29 points, five rebounds and three assists while Jock Landale recorded 21 points and six rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night’s matchup to try and turn their seasons around, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Grizzlies Injury Report, Will Jaren Jackson Jr., Ja Morant Play?
For the Grizzlies, they have six players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s contest, including both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant.

Memphis has listed Jackson Jr. as doubtful for Saturday due to a right ankle sprain as he is expected to miss his second consecutive game after missing Thursday’s victory over the Kings.
With Jackson Jr. expected to be sidelined once again, Aldama and Landale could have an increased role once again after leading the way for the Grizzlies against the Kings.

The Grizzlies have ruled out Ja Morant as he continues to be sidelined due to a right calf strain and with him being sidelined, Vince Williams and Jaylen Wells could be in line for larger roles.

Brandon Clarke, Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Javon Small have also been ruled out for Saturday’s game as the Grizzlies’ roster continues to be decimated by injuries.
Mavericks Injury Report, Will Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell Play?
On the other side, the Mavericks have five players listed on their injury report, including star big man Anthony Davis.

Davis has been ruled out for Saturday as he will miss his 13th consecutive game due to a left calf strain.

With Davis sidelined, Daniel Gafford and Naji Marshall could both have increased roles, especially with Dereck Lively II also being ruled out due to right knee injury management.
The Mavericks have listed D’Angelo Russell as questionable due to an illness as he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If Russell is sidelined, Brandon Williams and Jaden Hardy will likely have larger roles once again.
Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum have also been ruled out as they continue to be sidelined to begin the season.
