Jordyn Tyson ‘expected to return’ for Colorado matchup

Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is “expected to return” at Colorado on Saturday after being questionable on all three Big 12 availability reports this week, according to a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Sun Devils coach Kenny Dillingham had previously said Tyson’s timeline had been tracking for a return in Boulder and added Friday on Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta that his status would be a “game-time decision.”

He did get the game-time designation on the availability report released 90 minutes ahead of kickoff.

Even though his hamstring injury has cost him three games, Tyson remains second among Big 12 players in receiving touchdowns and total receptions with eight and 57, respectively.

Defensive back Rodney Bimage Jr. was listed as out following a stinger injury he picked up against West Virginia last week.

Fellow DB Adama Fall was downgraded from “doubtful” to “out” after seeing his second game of action this season against the Mountaineers.

For Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes, safety Carter Stoutmire, who is the team’s leading tackler (35) at his position, was listed as doubtful and linebacker Jeremiah Brown, who has the team’s second-most tackles (61) and two sacks, is questionable.

All Colorado players that appeared on the conference availability report were on the defense except for long snapper Camden Dempsey (out).

ASU-Colorado kicks off on Saturday at 6 p.m. and can be listened to on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app. Watch the game on ESPN2.
