Bad Bunny fans were left fuming after it was announced that Tyler, The Creator was given the title of Apple Music’s Artist of the Year.
Despite consistently landing himself at the top of the Apple Music charts, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny was not granted the title of artist of the year for 2025. While the 31-year-old singer was not given the prestigious title this year, he was honored with it in 2022 for his hit album, Un Verano Sin Ti.
Tyler, The Creator, 34, was given this title after dropping his surprise ninth studio album Don’t Tap the Glass, which was packed with references, samples, and subtle tributes to rap legends and the rapper’s past eras. While some thought the honor was well-deserved, many Bad Bunny fans were left fuming as they argued his artistic excellence and global cultural influence was far greater than Tyler’s this year.

Fans of Tyler also took to the comments praising his incredible run this year. One fan wrote, “Well deserved! Tyler, The Creator’s creativity and impact this year truly set him apart.”

Despite not being named this year’s Apple Music Artist of the Year, Bad Bunny is still being honored in any other ways this year. During the 26th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny was granted with the Album Of The Year award for his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. The rapper was also named at the next headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl, which is considered one of the biggest concerts of the year.
