Large thick black plumes of smoke are coming from a fire in the industrial heart of Brookvale.
Fire fighters are on scene with a reported 11 fire trucks sent to Rhino Laminating (42 Orchard Road, Brookvale), a surfboard glassing and manufacturer warehouse.
It’s too dangerous for firefighting crews to enter the warehouse, instead fighting the blaze from the outside. We understand the roof has collapsed.

NSW Ambulance confirmed they were called at 5:20pm to attend a fire and assessed a teenage boy with minor burns to his hands.
They are unable to provide any further detail as at 6:00pm they are still on scene treating him.
The blaze broke out before 5:30pm and there is no knowledge if anyone was inside when the fire started but reports confirm everyone has been accounted for.
The advice is to avoid the area.
