Dulles ranks among top airports for Thanksgiving travel

WASHINGTON (7News) — As Thanksgiving approaches, travelers brace themselves for one of the busiest and most stressful times of the year.
Risk Strategies crunched the numbers from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics to reveal which airports are the most reliable during this peak period, and found that Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) shines brightly.
Dulles ranked third on the list of the top 20 best airports for Thanksgiving travel, with only 12.8% of flights experiencing delays.

Meanwhile, if you’re flying through Orlando Sanford International, brace yourself for potential delays, as it tops the list with a whopping 33.4% of flights delayed.
