Country legend Garth Brooks has announced The Anthology, Part VI: The Comeback, The Next Five Years.
Brooks invites fans to hear the music and relive every moment on the winding comeback road on the new collection.
Orders placed now from TalkShopLive and Amazon will ship on December 5. The Limited Edition will include a special gift slipcase.
Reflecting on the Stadium Tour, Garth says, “These people were with us every step of the way. It was nothing short of amazing and exactly what I needed.”
But Garth’s story in Part VI is about more than the massive, three-year Stadium Tour that drew an average of 95,000 people in each city and started a Garthquake. It’s about how he once again put it all on the line to write the next chapter of his comeback story — creating the same intimacy in a packed stadium as he had during his arena tours and finding new ways to connect with people, like a live drive-in concert, when Covid wreaked havoc with scheduled tour dates.
“Division is the first step toward losing a war,” Garth said. “With COVID, the goal was to unify people without physically bringing them together…the hardest I have ever worked at entertaining.”
Part VI brings Garth’s story to the present, taking an in-depth look at every song on his FUN! and Time Traveler albums. This anthology captures Garth’s historic return to Ireland, where he played for over 400,000 fans at Croke Park in Dublin; the rowdy dive bar shows; and the beautiful, spontaneous chaos of the Garth Brooks/Plus ONE residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The volume also includes over 150 behind-the-scenes photos and 6 CD’s with 60 songs that run the gamut—tracks from FUN! and Time Traveler; live covers and collaborations; and an exclusive live recording of ‘Friends in Low Places’ from the 2022 Ireland shows.
