On Friday night, the South Bay Lakers (G League) played their first game of the 2025-26 season against the Santa Cruz Warriors.
The Lakers won by a score of 115-95.
Bronny James finished with 15 points, four rebounds, eight assists and three steals while shooting 5/10 from the field.

Bronny is in his second season as a pro (after being selected with the 55th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft).
The former USC star is currently averaging 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 29.6% from the field and 27.3% from three-point range in ten NBA games this season.
The Lakers will play their next game on Sunday night when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
They are 11-4 in 15 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
Last season, the Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
