Avelo Airlines began offering two new service routes from Florida the week before Thanksgiving 2025.

On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Avelo began offering service from Key West International Airport to Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut.

Thursday, Nov. 20, Avelo began offering flights from Palm Beach International Airport to Coastal North Carolina’s Wilmington International Airport.

Avelo Airlines began offering two new flights to and from Florida this week, Nov. 19 and Nov. 20.

• Key West International Airport (EYW) to Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Connecticut
  • Twice weekly service on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Started Nov. 19
  • It’s the only destination Avelo offers out of Key West.
• Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) to Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in Wilmington, North Carolina

Avelo drops some Florida routes

In October, Avelo announced it was dropping three routes, including two in Florida, due to lack of demand.

AirlineGeeks.com reported Avelo’s flights between Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers will be ending Jan. 7.

The budget airline is also dropping a route between Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) and Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) as of Nov. 30, the site reported.
