Morgan Rogers reveals what he has added to his game after brace against Leeds

Morgan Rogers revealed that Unai Emery has been focusing on him making more runs into the box to score goals for Aston Villa.
His first goal came from him running onto a cross from Donyell Malen in the six-yard box to tap home, and he explained that it was something Emery and him had been working on in the build-up to the match.
“The manager was banging on at me to get in the box and make runs into the box,” he said to BBC Radio 5 live. “There was a lot of pace on the ball so thankfully I was able to direct it.”
Rogers also scored a stunning free-kick from the edge of the area to win the game and the midfielder reflected on the goal after the game.
“I am happy the free-kick went in.” he said. “I tried to replicate Emi Buendia and thankfully it went in. I tried a bit in training and have been trying. The set-piece coach is banging on at me to keep trying in training.”
Villa had to come from behind to win and Rogers explained the difference between the two sides.
“It was a great win at a difficult place,” Rogers added. “We had to dig deep and work hard and show our determination,. We deserved the win in the end.
“When you look at everyone in the room we will work as hard as we can and leave everything out there. We may not be at it as normal but sometimes heart and determination gets you over the line.”
