Slender Man case convict missing from group home after removing monitoring bracelet

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) —Officers are searching for a woman who cut off her Department of Corrections monitoring bracelet and left a group home Saturday night.

Morgan Geyser was last seen in the area of Kroncke Drive around 8 p.m. with an adult acquaintance. Her whereabouts are unknown as of Sunday morning.

Geyser is one of the two people convicted in the Slender Man stabbing, and was recently approved to be transferred to a group home in Sun Prairie.

The facility declined her as a patient in August.

She previously lived at a psychiatric hospital in Oshkosh for several years.

The Madison Police Department was notified of her disappearance Sunday morning.

Police have released a recent image of Geyser captured on security video from this past month. Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911.
