Aaron Rodgers’ wild injury update includes flipping the bird, but only with his non-injured hand

Aaron Rodgers is quite the human being.
The stories abound as to how the Pittsburgh Steelers’ QB sometimes moves to a different beat than everyone else.
And now there’s a new one on Sunday morning.
Rodgers was originally questionable to play in the Steelers’ Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears due to a small fracture in his left wrist. So when Rodgers arrived at the field on Sunday, the eyes of reporters were all on his hands. Rodgers only carried his bag in with his right hand, for example.
But more notably, Rodgers had a gesture in mind for a few of the on-watching cameras.
This is how ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported it on X: “Aaron Rodgers arrived at Soldier Field about 20 minutes ago, walked one lap around the field, flipped off a couple of the cameras that were filming and went back inside. Used his right hand to flip the bird, so unclear if he could do it with his left. Status for today’s game still up in the air.”
Of course, the tricky part here is that it’s not obvious how much the small fracture to Rodgers’ non-throwing wrist will impact his QB play, and if it runs the risk of being made worse.
His right hand can clearly do the job, and that’s the one he has become a future Hall of Fame quarterback with.
He’s been ruled out Sunday, but maybe that’s all he’ll need moving forward. It’s all he needed pregame.
