Inter v AC Milan, Serie A 2025/2026: stats, standings, referee and suspensions

The Derby della Madonnina is always a special occasion, and this time it takes place after the International Break on the 12th matchday of Serie A. AC Milan, led by Coach Allegri, is set to face Inter, managed by Coach Chivu. The match will be held on 23 November 2025 at 20:45 at San Siro. Both teams are vying for top positions, making this encounter particularly significant. We approach kick-off with our Match Preview.

LATEST FROM MILANELLO
AC Milan come into the derby following a string of good results. In the last Serie A match, the Rossoneri drew 2-2 against Parma, showing a brilliant approach to the game which was then lost during the 90 minutes at the Tardini. Despite a few too many points dropped, Coach Allegri’s side are experiencing a period of growth, with just one defeat this season, and they’ve benefitted from the International Break as they’ve recovered almost all the players who were out at the start of the season: Rabiot, Pulisic and Jashari will be in the squad, only Gimenez and Athekame are out. The Rossoneri, with Modrić taking part in his first city derby, are determined to extend their unbeaten run and continue climbing the table, but the derby is a whole different match in itself.

Massimiliano Allegri spoke ahead of the match. “The derby kicks off a decisive cycle until March, in the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa. Inter are an experienced and solid side, they’re favourites for the Scudetto alongside Napoli, but the derby is a different match in itself. I have lots of confidence in the group because a good week is all that’s needed and everything can change with six points. You can play and win without a true number nine, for this, I expect lots from Pulisic and Leão”.
