The defending national champions return to the court at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. on Sunday, Nov. 23 as the Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase concludes with the No. 1 UConn Huskies taking on the Utah Utes.

The 5-0 Huskies had to fight to remain undefeated on Friday in the first day of the Showcase when they matched up with No. 6 Michigan in a battle of unbeatens. UConn’s lead was as slim as 1 in the final seconds, but Azzi Fudd knocked down a pair of free throws to seal the 72-69 victory and give herself a game-high 31 points. The 2025 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player also had two steals and two blocks in the win while Sarah Strong had 16 points and 20 rebounds to go with six assists, three steals and four blocks. KK Arnold led the game with seven assists while also swiping two steals, and she and Ashlynn Shade and Serah Williams combined for 20 points.
Utah lost its Showcase opener to Syracuse, 61-49. It was the second straight loss for the Utes and it dropped them to 3-2. Maty Wilke was the game’s leading scorer with 18 and Chyra Evans added 13.
