Week 12 FanDuel NFL Player Props: Pierce Goes Deep

Sport: NFL

When I said that Michael Wilson was going to be the WR1, I expected a strong game. After all, I did target him with one of my prop plays. But instead, Wilson just went out there and finished with 185 receiving yards for a resounding victory. The problem, though, is that the good times ended. The entire Los Angeles Chargers offense failed to show up, and Oronde Gadsden finished two yards shy while Pat Freiermuth was eight yards short.

You know that means, though, just keep on going. There is more football left to be played, so let’s stick with our process. Here are the Week 12 NFL Player Props on FanDuel Sportsbook that we are considering.

Week 12 NFL Player Props (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Alec Pierce Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

While a lot of attention has been focused on Daniel Jones, and with good reason, it takes two to tango. For as good as Jones has been under center, he can’t do it alone. And as of late, it appears that Alec Pierce has emerged as one of Jones’ main receiving options.

In six of Pierce’s last seven games, that has been evident in his performance. While Pierce only has 28 catches, to say that he’s been efficient would be an understatement. Pierce is up to 585 receiving yards on the season and has a shot at hitting the 1,000-yard milestone for the season.

For our purposes, though, all we really care about is the present with our prop plays. And considering Pierce has at least 67 receiving yards in six of his last seven games, it’s going to warrant our attention. Pierce is a legitimate deep threat who has earned the trust of his quarterback. And as the Indianapolis Colts likely enter into a track meet with the Kansas City Chiefs, Pierce should be busy.

Zach Charbonnet Over 38.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Sometimes, you just have to follow the matchup. The Tennessee Titans are terrible against the run. So far this season, they rank 26th with 135 rushing yards allowed per game. For that, we can blame both their defense and the overall game flow, as Tennessee generally trails.

This week should be no different as the Titans are 12.5-point underdogs. That means Seattle should be in control of the game for the majority of the day and looking to keep the ball on the ground.

So far this season, the Seahawks have kept things generally even between Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. For the sake of our prop plays, I’m targeting the option with the smaller yard total.

After Charbonnet finished with 37 rushing yards last week, this is going to come down to the wire. The situation does line up well for Charbonnet.

TJ Hockenson Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

I know it hasn’t been the smoothest of seasons for TJ Hockenson this season, but he’s too good a player for his prop play to be this low. It’s also a divisional matchup against the Green Bay Packers, so anything can happen.

Last week, Hockeson got back on “track,” catching three passes for 39 yards. That was after three straight weeks of two receptions each as Hockenson failed to meet his yardage prop. With JJ McCarthy back under center and in the groove, the expectation is that he builds on Week 11.
