Dianne featured in a big group number during the annual BBC dancing competition’s edition from Blackpool

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell was flooded with support over her Blackpool message to her ‘lucky’ baby boy on social media.
The Australian professional dancer and YouTuber Joe Sugg met back on the 2018 series of the BBC dancing competition when they were paired together. Announcing their relationship once the series was over, Dianne and Joe made it to the final of the series where documentary maker Stacey Dooley and dance partner Kevin Clifton lifted the Glitterball Trophy.
Keeping their fans updated on the ins and outs of their relationship on social media and in Joe’s vlogs, Dianne revealed just before the 23rd season of Strictly got underway that she was pregnant.
Becoming the first pregnant dancer to compete on Strictly, Dianne’s time on the series came to an end last month when her dance partner Stefan Dennis tore his calf and had to withdraw. The Neighbours legend’s injury arrived as fans were full of hope for ‘Team Aussie’s’ journey on the dance-floor.
Continuing to take part in the group routines and provide support for her co-stars, Dianne is expecting a baby boy next year. On top of this she’s been providing lots of pregnancy updates on her social media accounts.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday (November 23), Dianne shared a snap of her backstage preparing for Strictly’s annual edition from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The opening of the episode saw Dianne joining her fellow pro dancers and the remaining stars in dancing to a melody of Steps’ anthems.

She captioned her post: “Baby boys first Blackpool and he gets to dance with @officialsteps what a lucky lad he is already @bbcstrictly. Hair @charliewilkinsonhair. Makeup @enyasullivanmakeup.”
The comments section of Dianne’s post saw several of her famous friends and fans having their say on her wholesome post and wishing her and Joe good luck on their road to becoming parents.
Steps singer Faye Towzer, who sang with her band Steps at the beginning of the episode said: “SO lovely to see you.” Dragons’ Den’s Sara Davies added: “Unbelievable dance! Loved it!”
