LOS ANGELES RAMS (-6.5) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Rams might be the best team in the NFL.
Sean McVay’s club took down the divisional rival Seahawks on Sunday to grab control in the NFC West, flashing its excellent defense and scoring just enough against a Seattle team that’s strong on that end as well.
They face another NFC contender on “Sunday Night Football,” but they might be catching them at the right time. The Buccaneers have struggled over the past month, going 1-3 with their only win coming against the lowly Saints.
Injuries have been a big part of the story with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Bucky Irving, and others missing time. The latter two players could return, but they shouldn’t be relied on as difference makers in their first game back.
Bet on a relatively easy home win for Matthew Stafford and Co.
Shedeur Sanders will make his first NFL start in Las Vegas against the Raiders on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (-4) over Cleveland Browns
Shedeur Sanders will get his first NFL start in Las Vegas on Sunday. He’d better hope he plays better than he did last week.
Sanders looked overmatched when he took over for Dillon Gabriel against the Ravens on Sunday, completing just 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards with an interception against a Baltimore defense that has struggled at times this season.
The Raiders defense isn’t exactly frightening either, but Sanders will have to deal with one of the top pass rushers in the league, Maxx Crosby.
Betting on the NFL?
Sanders has a bad habit of taking way too many sacks — he was sacked twice in limited action last week and was taken down in the backfield a total of 94 times in his final two seasons at Colorado.
In a lost season with Gabriel sidelined, the Browns are going to see what they have in Sanders. I don’t think it’s going to go well.
LAST WEEK: 1-1. Dolphins (W), Texans (L).
SEASON: 11-11.
