Who Are the Rams-Buccaneers Announcers? A Look at NBC’s Broadcast Team for Sunday Night Football

The Los Angeles Rams will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an important Week 12 matchup that has two teams positioned near the top of their respective conferences. The game arrives at an important juncture of the season: Los Angeles enters the game on a five-game winning streak, while Tampa Bay looks to recover after losing three of its last four.

Announcers Who Will Guide Fans Through the Rams vs. Buccaneers Game

NBC will broadcast Sunday Night Football with its standard three-person team. Mike Tirico will handle play-by-play duties, joined in the booth by Cris Collinsworth (this game will be the 500th NFL broadcast of his career across regular-season and postseason assignments). Melissa Stark will report from the sidelines, providing injury updates, field-level observations, and other in-game information.

Collinsworth’s first appearance as an analyst came on Sept. 9, 1990, during a Buffalo Bills-Indianapolis Colts game alongside Jim Donovan. Over the decades, Collinsworth has worked in 52 different NFL stadiums, partnered with 13 play-by-play broadcasters, and contributed coverage across four networks and two streaming platforms.

Sunday’s game also mirrors his debut in one respect: it will have two former No. 1 overall draft pick quarterbacks in Los Angeles’ Matthew Stafford and Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield.

Fans in local markets will have additional broadcast options. In Los Angeles, the radio call will be delivered by J.B. Long (play-by-play), Maurice Jones-Drew (analyst), and D’Marco Farr (sideline) on ESPN LA 710 AM. In Tampa Bay, coverage will be available on 98 Rock with Gene Deckerhoff, Dave Moore, and TJ Rives.

The game itself includes a big moment for the Los Angeles Rams, who are honoring Aaron Donald for a decade-long career defined by excellence. Donald earned three Defensive Player of the Year awards, received Pro Bowl recognition in every season of his career, and made a decisive play that secured the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory at SoFi Stadium. The team will recognize his contributions throughout the evening after he retired in March 2024.

From a competitive standpoint, both teams will come into the game with contrasting injury situations. The Rams listed four players on their opening report. Quarterback Matthew Stafford will be supported by receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, while running back Kyren Williams will provide steady production on the ground.

Los Angeles will be without tight end Tyler Higbee, who is on injured reserve, and safety Quentin Lake, who remains out after dislocating his elbow. According to goal.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ report listed 16 players after the team held only a walkthrough. Illness has affected several cornerstone players.
