Jennifer Lopez set the stage ablaze at Netra Mantena and tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju’s wedding reception in Udaipur, marking her first-ever visit to India. Videos of her high-octane performance instantly went viral, with fans praising her electrifying energy, unmatched professionalism, and the fact that she continues to deliver powerhouse shows at 56. Adding to the star power of the night, leading Telugu superstar Ram Charan was also spotted among the guests.

The videos from the reception show JLo dressed in a gold and silver outfit as she performed her hit tracks. In one of the clips, she is singing her song “Get On The Floor”, while other clips show her performing Waiting for Tonight, Play, Save Me Tonight, Get Right, Ain’t Your Mama and more. JLo chose bold outfits for her performance, wearing bodysuits and cut-out dresses. While many lauded her choice of clothing, others criticised it. A comment read, “How can someone say she is looking good in this outfit ? The outfit itself is terrible it’s like a swimsuit …” Another comment read, “Is it just me, or do singers save their skimpiest, ‘did-you-forget-your-clothes’ outfits exclusively for India? Who’s requesting this?”

Along with performing at the reception, Lopez also attended the couple’s wedding in the morning, and while attending the wedding festivities she showed up in a desi avatar. Wearing a pink saree embellished with diamond jewellery, and even sporting a maang tikka, she was seen posing with the bride Netra Mantena’s father, Rama Raju Mantena, a dominant figure in the US pharmaceutical sector.
Ram Charan was also seen at the wedding. He was seen flaunting an all-black suit and completed the look with night glares.
Who are Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju?
Netra Mantena is the daughter of Rama Raju Mantena, an Orlando-based entrepreneur who is the Chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, a company with operations and Research and Development centres across the US, Switzerland and India. While he is being described as a billionaire, there is no mention of his name on the Forbes billionaire list. On the other side, Vamsi is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Superorder, a software platform that helps multi-location restaurants manage delivery. His company has an estimated valuation of $18–25 million (Rs 208 crore), and he was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2024.

Netra and Vamsi’s wedding was attended by Donald Trump Jr, who has been clicked at all the festivities. The couple’s Sangeet ceremony saw performances by an array of Bollywood stars including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi.
