While most of his damage came in the first half, Matthew Stafford was sensational tonight on “Sunday Night Football.”
The veteran quarterback completed 25-of-35 passes for 273 yards with three touchdowns, two to Davante Adams and the other to Colby Parkinson.
Of course, for some extra excitement, he sprinkled in a few sidearm throws and his touchdown pass to Parkinson was a no-look.
He entered the night as the betting favorite to win MVP this year and that will likely remain true.
