Two men dead and several injured in collision between lorry, bus and car

Two men have died in a three-vehicle crash between a lorry, a bus, and a car in Co Meath.
The collision occurred at around 6.30am on the R132 at Gormanstown on Monday morning.
The driver of the lorry, aged in his 40s, and the driver of the bus, aged in his 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver of the car, aged in her 40s, was brought to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A female passenger of the car, in her teens, was initially brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A number of other people were also brought to hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non life threatening at this time.
The R132 is currently closed pending technical examination by Gara Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the R132 at Gormanstown, Co Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am on Monday, November 24th, have been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at scene of a fatal three-vehicle road traffic collision on the R132 at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, this morning, Monday 24th November 2025.
The collision, involving a lorry, a bus and a car, occurred at approximately 6.30am.
The male driver of the lorry (aged his 40’s) and the male driver of the bus (aged in his 50’s) were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The female driver of the car (aged in her 40’s) was conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The female passenger of the car (aged in her teens) was initially conveyed to our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
It is understood by The Irish Times that at least 10 other people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
Bus Éireann confirmed to the paper that one of its buses was involved in the crash, which took place near the site of the former Huntsman pub.
