Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards teased by co-star over ‘soft launch’ as she goes ‘public’ with beau

Brenda Edwards has been teased by one of her Loose Women co-stars as she went ‘public’ with her new beau as she marked their year anniversary.
The singer and actress went ‘Instagram official’ with her new partner, gushing over his “unconditional love” which had made her life “brighter” – however, she didn’t got as far to reveal him to her social media followers.
She uploaded a sweet snap showing her holding her partner’s hand, in which only their fingers could be seen entwined, with their faces kept out of the shot, with Brenda clearly wanting to keep her new love out of the public eye.
But it was alongside the post that 56-year-old Branda gushed: “A year ago, you walked into my life with laughter in your beautiful eyes and so much unconditional love in your heart and every day since has been that much brighter.
“Your humour makes the ordinary magical, your love makes the difficult easy, and your steady spirit makes me feel safe enough to dream bigger than I already do, even silence feels like music, and every moment feels like we have known each other for years! You just get it!”

She added: “So here’s to us, one year of laughter, love, and balance, and a lifetime still waiting to be written. I can’t wait to keep turning pages with you, hand in hand, side by side, back to back, heart to heart.” And not revealing his name, she rounded off the post: “Love you Boy.”
Her Loose Women co-star Denise Welch was quick to respond, as she joked: “Soft launch!” to which Brenda replied: “Denise!!! [crying laughing emojis],” meanwhile Ruth Langsford commented on the post: “Happy Anniversary,” while Christine Lampard reacted with a series of red love hearts.
Strictly’s It Takes Two host Fleur East posted: “Beautiful words! Happy anniversary.” Singer Jessie J gushed: “Loveeeeeeeee this. Love you.” EastEnders star Diane Parish also added a string of red love hearts underneath the post.
Brenda married husband Patrick Edwards in 1996 but they divorced after 27 years. She previously told an episode of Loose Women how many of her pals didn’t even know she was marrieduntil she announced they were calling time on their relationship.
Brenda is mum to children Jamal and Tanisha. In February 2022, her music pioneer son Jamal, sadly passed away, at the age of 31.
