Amazon baby product recalled because of suffocation and entrapment risks

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The U.S. Consumer Products and Safety Commission is urging families to stop using certain play yards sold on Amazon, citing risks of suffocation and entrapment.

Anna Queen-branded play yards have been recalled after federal regulators found they violate mandatory safety standards.

According to the recall, infants can slip under the mattress or become trapped between the matress and the side panels.

About 70 units are affected. The play yards were sold on AMazom starting March 2025 for $100 to $110.

The recalled models feature black side fabric, gray-bordered mesh panels and white top rails printed with multi-colored bear faces, paws and the word “bear” on them. The mattress carries the same print. Impacted units are marked as “Model: P700″ and “Production Date: 202503″ on both the packaging and the removable model tag.

Consumers are instructed to remove the fabric cover, cut it and the mattress into pieces and email a photo of the destroyed parts to Anna Queen at tingerservice@outlook.com for a full refund.

No injuries or incidents have been reported.
