Jack Grealish’s career revival at Everton could reach new heights if he were to score in Everton’s clash with Manchester United on Monday.

The Manchester City loanee will be desperate to get one over his rivals, and he has previously scored two goals in nine appearances against the Red Devils.

With there being a 16-day gap between Everton’s 2-0 win over Fulham on 8 November and Monday’s eye-watering clash, Toffees supporters are hoping to record their first win at Old Trafford since 2013.

No one is more ready than Grealish, who took to social media to send a message to all Evertonians ahead of the game.

Jack Grealish raring to go for Everton vs Man United

Grealish’s move on loan from Man City has been successful for all parties so far, with the England winger setting the Premier League alight this season.

Grealish’s four assists in his first two starts saw him become the first Everton player to record two assists in back-to-back Premier League games.

The 30-year-old sent a message on Instagram which said: “Ready for tomorrow 🧑‍🦱💙.”

Grealish’s Instagram post

Everton haven’t finished in the Premier League’s top 10 since 2020/21, when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge.

However, Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Iliman Ndiaye all have the best chance of helping the Toffees achieve this due to their individual brilliance in matches.

According to Sofascore, Grealish has created 26 key passes and 24 chances, and there’s no doubt that he is one of the league’s best creators at the moment.

He has set the Hill Dickinson Stadium on fire with his trickery on the left wing, and it’s a testament to his character that he’s performing at the level we know he can achieve after his struggles at Man City.

Grealish’s Premier League stats for Everton

Grealish’s only goal for Everton came in the dramatic 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on 5 October, and his xG of 1.16 is very low for someone who’s made 10 Premier League appearances.

Jack Grealish’s must become more of a goal threat

In David Moyes’ system, Grealish does hug the touchline, which allows for fellow winger Ndiaye to make more late runs into the box.

However, if there was one aspect of his game we could be critical of, it’s his slow start in front of goal.

Man United play with a back five, and it could be a perfect opportunity for Grealish to find space between the centre-back and the wing-back.

If he does so effectively, Everton have a brilliant chance of ending their 12-year voodoo at Old Trafford.
